Ephemera: set

Ephemeral SCULPTURES

ENSEMBLE

The work Ensemble presents an in situ installation consisting of sculptures with both human and mineral shapes. This materializes the vision of a humanist gathering where differences, genders, nations, ideologies, nature and the recognition of a common essence are shared.

In a social climate that tends to polarize opinions, Hélène Brunet Neumann uses the circle as a symbol to represent the importance of social cohesion. The circle consults, gathers at a location, reflects on a situation, an issue. The circle takes care of individuals and the group. The circle organizes itself against the grain of the hierarchy to face present and future challenges. The circle protects the clan, future generations, the environment. It deconstructs ego-leaders, softens hearts, puts space between thoughts, to better understand, learn and act. The circle benefits from each person’s intelligence. In the circle there is a center. A center to cultivate. Inside Outside. This work is a call in this sense to the world, to leaders, to decision-makers, to everyone.
